  1. Future versions of ATLAS will be enhanced by the addition of the following:

  3. • A "Pan" feature complements zooming by allowing the user to move along the same plane as the currently displayed map.
  4.  
  5. • A "Find" feature locates and displays items sought by the user.
  6.  
  7. • A "Quiz" feature asks the user to locate and identify items in the database.
  8.  
  9. • A "Legend" window provides the title and an explanation of any symbols used in the current map.
  10.  
  11. • A "Get Information" feature allows the user to scroll through textual information concerning items in the database.
  12.  
  13. • Various additional tools will streamline the construction of complex databases.
